Disneyland is part of that wonderful franchise of amusement parks that claims to be the “happiest place on earth.”

It is not cheap to gain admission to Disneyland and everyone would love to know how to get Disneyland deals and save some money on admission to the California fun park.

Getting a price break on Disneyland tickets is not as easy as it may sound.  Disneyland continues to be one of the most popular attractions in Southern California and in many instances Disney does not feel the need to offer discounts to get people into Disneyland. But like any good corporation the Disney people have put some discounts out there and it is up to you to find them.

The first, and probably the free way to get a discount at Disneyland is to go there on your birthday in 2009. Contact Disneyland to be certain of what kind of identification is required to prove that it is your birthday but once you have the proof you are in that day for free.  As discounts go a free ticket on your birthday is about the best discount you will ever get at Disneyland.  That leaves the problem of what to do on the other 364 days of the year.

Buying your tickets online can save you money over buying them at the gate. Purchasing your passes in advance over the internet is a way to lower your cost and helps you to enjoy the benefits of planning ahead. The discount can be pretty substantial depending on how many days you are purchasing and when you can make a substantial savings on Disneyland passes you have more money to spend in the park.

Go online and find the various travel agents that offer Disneyland deals as part of a package deal and they have them at a discount. There are not many travel agents that offer these kinds of programs because Disney does not release a lot of discount tickets to travel companies but when you can find one that has the lower priced tickets you should try and take advantage of that.
