Staying at Disneyland Hotel is not that expensive if you know how to find the cheap lodgings and using the amenities of the hotels.

Thanks for sharing this helpful information on these beautiful hotels. If I had an opportunity to choose I would give a preference to Ramada Main Gate.

I have never been but I have been in a few Ramada establishments before and have never had a bad experiance. When I go to disny land I will be looking for a hotel close to the resorts.

We stayed at the Motel 6 in Anaheim and found it very pleasant. Definately a good recommendation.

Good advice about these Ramada establishments. I too have never heard anyone say a bad word about them. I really should seriously consider staying in one.

Disneyland of Anaheim is really not a more than 2 day visit kind of place. If you are motivated you can cover the whole park in 2 days. You are at a disadvantage if you come during the summer because of the huge lines, but Anaheim is a year round city. You can walk your dog, go jogging, and even swimming in November. Maybe not swimming, since the water is cold, but it is sunny year round. Most hotels are near freeways and traffic noise is bad, but once again if you come during the off season instead of summer, there is less tourist traffic. I can say I can recommend any hotel in particular, since I have never stayed in any of them, since I am almost walking distance, but I would emphasize the off season plan.
