5 Best Ways to Save Your Money at Disney Orlando

Disney World in Orlando
The holiday season is here! It’s time to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily lives and pamper your family to a fun vacation.
There are countless choices of vacation spots for you to pick, and one of them is Disney Orlando, Florida.
Therefore, there are many reasons why you should add this park as your “must-go list holidays places”.
Having a vacation at Disneyland should be an unforgettable moment for you and your family. However, believe me, it’s not going to be a perfect memory if you spend much more money than you ever planned.
So, what should you do before you step your feet into Disney Orlando gate?
5 Ways to save your money at Disney Orlando:
1. Walt Disney World Free Admission on your 2009 Birthday:
Did you have your birthday this year? Lucky you! Walt Disney is giving a free admission for a birthday person. All you have to do is register online at the official site, and they’ll send 2 weeks prior notice to your birthday. Bring this confirmation and your ID to get free admission. This ticket only applies to the birthday person and one park admission.
2. Never buy a theme-park ticket for the day of your arrival or the day of your departure.
It’s definitely not worth spending $60 for just a couple of hours in the parks–just like what I’ve experienced
. You can buy ticket for the next full day. Instead, use those days to visit Downtown Disney, Disney’s Boardwalk, or Universal City Walk, or lounge around your hotel pool.
3. Buy theme park tickets in advance
Saving time = saving money! Did you know that you can save money buying theme park tickets online in advance rather than wait your turn at the gate? In some cases, seven-day passes can be bought for less online than a single
entry pass at the park entrance.
4. Watch out for merchandises over budget!
Cute and eye catching merchandises are displayed admirably there, so neither you nor your children can’t resist them. You may find that some same stuffs for sale are also available outside-for quite less price. One way to deal with it is to give every member of your family a souvenir budget-adults and children alike. Another good option is to wait until the last day of your trip to buy your souvenirs.
Schedule a special visit to local outlet stores like Orlando Premium Outlets, where much of the merchandise you see at the theme parks is available at serious discounts. Instead of risking losing your child in the crowd while you’re looking at Mickey Mouse’s key chains at Disney Orlando, there’s a better way for getting Disney merchandises online from your home. You also can give luxury souvenirs for your loved ones. You’re happy, your kids and your loved ones are happy too.
5. Refill your water bottles.
This is the most important thing. It would seem that you are only spending a small amount of money for a $2-$3 bottled water. However, you’ll be surprised at how much water you drink hiking around the parks under the hot Florida sun. Those $2 – $3 water bottles really add up, but you can save a bundle by refilling your bottles at the water fountains all over the parks. The Parks do allow you to bring bottled water and soda’s, but does not allow any type of coolers, glass bottles or
alcoholic beverages.

Wow!!!! These tips were very helpful. My wife and I are planning a surprise trip for our daughter next year to go to Disney World.
I like the idea of not buying a ticket for the day you arrive and the day you leave. I think that makes a lot of sense and will save us some money from the start.
The water fountain idea instead of buying bottled water is excellent.
Thanks for sharing.
